Nankang is committed to exploring eco-sustainable solutions, by improving products and technologies that will help minimise environmental impact. All processes and products conform to all relevant environmental regulations. Our Eco features include:
1. EU Compliance
Nankang's tyre compound formulas have been designed to meet EU environmental protection regulations which come into force in 2010. The HA oil-free formula is utilised throughout the entire product range. In addition, pollution from the manufacturing process is minimised, via the reduction of volatile organic compound (VOC) generation.
2. Extended Tyre Life
Nankang uses highly structured reinforcing agents which promote molecular stability of the tread formula compound, designed to extend tread wear. Also, unique additives are used to delay the tyre aging process. Moreover, the tyre compound is designed to enhance inflation holding properties, resulting in extended tyre life, and most importantly, driving safety.
3. Silica compound
The use of high dispersible silica and synthesised rubber bonding agents combine to minimise rolling resistance. The result - better fuel economy, safer handling and reduced carbon emissions.
